A Spanish wine from Utiel-Requena
Toro Loco hails straight from the heart of the Utiel-Requena appellation region, in Spain. Our vineyards sprawl across hilltops, basking in altitudes ranging from 600 to 900 meters. The constant slope towards the sea ensures that our vines get the perfect dose of freshness and sunlight to grow without any special treatments.
The Bobal is our main grape variety. Thanks to its thick skin, late ripening and resistance to dryness, the Bobal is perfectly suited to the climate conditions in the Utiel-Requena region.
The Bobal takes its roots in the latin word “Bovale” which means bull. That’s how this indigenous grape gave us our brand name.
